Playland Fans Enjoyed New Games and Prizes at State Fair
Playland Arcade at the Minnesota State Fair
Thanks to all Playland fans for visiting us at the Minnesota State Fair! Though attendance was lower this year, plenty of people enjoyed playing at the arcade and winning fun prizes.
2021 highlights at Playland Arcade included:
- Giving away 5 pairs of high value collectible sneakers in the Loot Locker / Key Master prize crane machine, plus thousands of dollars in electronics.
- Arcade fans loved these new games – Pearl Fishery, HYPERpitch, Beat Saber, and Minecraft Dungeons Arcade.
- Most popular items at the prize counter – candy, lava lamps, bubble blasters, Pac-Man pillows, LED lights, and various plush.
- Did you win a Giant Sloth or Unicorn in our Giant Crane? If not, you can try again next year. A member of Yam Haus, a Midwest band who performed two nights at the Leinie Lodge Bandshell Stage, was actually filmed INSIDE the Giant Crane!
We were very happy to be back at the State Fair this year and are looking forward to next year already!
Over Six Decades at the Fair
Since the mid-1950’s, Lieberman/AAA has operated the Playland Arcade at the Minnesota State Fair, one of the biggest and most unique state fairs in the country. Every year (except of course for 2020), our AAA team diligently assembles 80+ games to operate an arcade during the 12 days of the fair.
Playland Arcade is located on the corner of Carnes and Nelson at the fairgrounds. For more information, please contact Tim Zahn at 952-887-5393.
