MOMA Hosts 39th Annual State Dart Tournament
2025 MOMA State Dart Tournament Recap
On January 30th – February 2nd, the Minnesota Operators of Music & Amusements (MOMA) held their 39th Annual State Dart Tournament at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minnesota. Players from the state competed in 501 and Cricket singles, doubles, and team events of all levels including a Mixed Trips 701 satellite event. Several of our American Amusement Arcades (AAA) league players competed against other dart players from all over Minnesota.
Winners from AAA Dart Leagues
Congratulations to all of our AAA league players! Jimmy Eats World (Ben Regner, Jim Lokken, Mike Mewhorter, and Ryley Anderson) won 1st place in the Level 3 division of 501 Team competition. Individually, 3 of the team members also took home plaques for the singles competition: In Cricket Singles, Mike took 1st place in Level 4 and Ben took 2nd place in Level 4. In 501 Singles, Ryley took 2nd place in Level 4.
Jonah Toutant won 1st place in Level 7 Cricket Singles while Matt Hansen came home with two 2nd place finishes in Level 2 Cricket Singles and in Level 2 501 Doubles with Taylor Balogh.
AAA won both 1st and 2nd place in the Level 7 Cricket Team competition with Two Stooges (Bri Town, Danton Tyree, Derrick Bronson, and Robert Jackson) in first and The Dubliner Pub (Jason Lyons, Jeff Ankeny, Joe Larson, John Grindal, and Scott Friend) in second.
Alexandre Parkin & Danna Williams teamed up for both Mixed Doubles at Level 1. Alex and Danna took 2nd place Cricket Mixed Doubles and 3rd place in 501 Mixed Doubles.
