2020 MOMA Dart Tournament in Rochester
Many of our American Amusement Arcades (AAA) league players competed against other dart players across the state at the 35th Annual Minnesota Operators of Music & Amusements (MOMA) State Dart Tournament. After three consecutive years at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, the tournament moved south to the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester.
Winning Players from AAA Dart Leagues
AAA dart players had a couple of 1st place finishes in the annual tournament. The Throw Togethers (Brandon Curtis, Greg Molnar, Nathan Lytle, and Rob Knauff) won 1st place in the Level 4 division of Cricket Team competition. They all play in a dart league out of Drkula’s in Inver Grove Heights. Kyle McDermand, who plays at Park Tavern in St. Louis Park, won 1st place in the Level 6 division of the 501 Singles event.
The duo of Bill Eikmeier and Mark Streeter placed 2nd in the Level 7 division of 501 Doubles competition. They play in AAA leagues out of Clay’s in Rockford, Minnesota. Other players who placed at the tournament play out of Tiffany Sports Lounge, Shooters Billiards, and Big Louie’s.

Donations Raised at MOMA Tournament
As one of the oldest associations and annual state tournaments in the country, MOMA takes pride in its charity work. At the tournament, MOMA raised money for Kent Hrbek’s ALS Charity and the MOMA Scholarship Fund. A select number of college-bound students with industry ties are awarded scholarships each year.
